NY Giants’ Corey Webster to miss time due to neck injury
NY Giants cornerback Corey Webster will miss his first game of the season because of a neck injury.
The injury occurred when Webster collided with defensive tackle Matt Stinchcomb during a play in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 20-17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Webster was hurt on the play, which was ruled a personal foul.
The Giants (1-3) will begin their season on Sunday against the Kansas Chiefs.
The team is scheduled to travel to Pittsburgh for a three-day road trip that begins Monday.
