DISNEYLAND PARKS is getting a bit too cute, the latest instalment in a long and often ugly saga.
It seems the latest installment of the franchise is not as cute as it first appeared.
With the release of the upcoming movie ‘The Little Mermaid’, Disney is planning to bring back the classic theme park, only this time the ride will be in the form of a park attraction.
As part of its ‘disNEYland’ theme park theme, Disney is creating a ‘Disney Parks in Tomorrowland’ (DPIT) ride which will allow guests to visit Disneyland, Universal Studios, Epcot and Walt Disney World and enjoy some of the latest rides and attractions, such as ‘The Jungle Book’ and ‘Zootopia’.
The attraction will be a one-day attraction which will be available to everyone in the US and Canada.
The park will be free to visit for people under the age of 21.
Disney has not released a number of details about the attraction but the most recent update on the Disney Parks website states that there will be 3 rides, 1 of which is a ‘disneys new ride attraction’ (DRIVE) which will not be as cute.
But wait, there’s more: The park will also be offering a ‘DISNEYLAND TOURS’ event in 2019 which will feature rides and experiences in the park.
At the moment, these are limited to Disneyland Paris and Disneyland Tokyo, but a further date for the event is not yet confirmed.
There are also plans for ‘Dunkin’ Donuts Super Star Dash’ (a new attraction) which could be a return to the original ride concept, ‘Dumbo’.
While it may sound like a gimmick, it could be an attempt to revitalise the attraction, which was cancelled in the early 2000s due to safety concerns.
Dunkins name is also being used to promote the new attraction.
DISNEY is set to open the park in 2019.
So, how did the park get such a name?
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the park’s president, Tom Hiddleston, confirmed that Disney is using a “fancy-sounding name” and that the name was inspired by the theme park’s theme park in Florida.
He said: “There are a couple of things I like about Florida.
It’s a great name for the park.”
In addition, the Disney logo is on a small window on the front of the attraction.
Disney has not announced what will happen to the attraction once it opens.
If you want to see the attraction at Walt Disney’s Florida theme park you can take a ride on the ‘Disney Dumbo’.
Disney is also planning to launch ‘Diddy Land’, a new attraction which is currently under construction.
This will be similar to the Disney ride in ‘The Lion King’ where guests will ride a boat in the water, but this will be the first Disney park attraction to use the ‘Dixie Chicks’ theme song.
One thing is for sure, we’re looking forward to the ride!
Disney parks are now open in the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia and New Zealand.
